FixAoe2 – A Project to Create Balance in Age of Empires II

FixAoE2 is continuously updated.

After hundreds of hours studying military strategies and analyzing balance, it’s clear that Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition still suffers from serious mechanical flaws. Many updates have made the game worse — introducing overpowered units, broken bonuses, and unfair population values.

As a strategist with over two decades of RTS experience, I’m documenting these issues and proposing direct mechanical fixes.
FixAoE2.xyz presents solutions through realistic unit costs, balanced population values, stronger defenses, and more consistent civilization design.

This project pushes for an AoE2 where no civilization wins through design flaws or cheap exploits — only through strategy and skill.

UPDATE (5/19/2026):
After checking the last updates, I realize it's fruitless. These baby devs are complete fruit cakes who won't listen to any feedback from an actual strategy expert. They nerfed the Chinese even further and left all problems unfixed. Because of that I lack the interest in keeping this website up. This game's never gonna get good.  I should have known better. It was all a futile hope. There's nothing I can do now. I'm not gonna play this game ever again, and I'm not gonna renew the website subscription, so it's gonna expire soon. Dunno if anyone will ever read this website, but it was there...
Losing my utube channel was also really bad. I did nothing wrong there, it just got terminated over night. I think the utube AI got triggered by some of my comments. I lost a dozen utube channels to the same shit. And I'm really done with all that. I don't even make utube videos anymore and im not talking about aoe2 videos. The stupiity of this world completely supressed me. And i have lost all motivation to fight back. The weak won. It's hopeless.
