Overview
The Vikings use strong infantry and powerful ships but have poor mobility on land.
They can control water easily, yet once fighting moves inland, they cannot move units or reinforce fast enough.
Strengths
Strong infantry with high durability.
Strong navy with cost-efficient and durable ships.
Weaknesses
Weak stable units.
Slow army movement and poor unit transfer between land and sea.
Proposed Fixes
Allow Longboats to train Berserks and garrison units.
On water: trained units automatically garrison if space is available.
Near shore: trained units spawn on land.
Garrisoned units can be unloaded at any coastline.
Effect
Longboats act as mobile training buildings and transports.
Vikings can reinforce land fights directly from the sea instead of walking units from inland bases.
Improves movement and response time without increasing damage, armor, or economic bonuses.
Design Reasoning
The Vikings lose strength when battles move away from water.
Letting Longboats train and garrison Berserks fixes this by letting them build and unload troops from the sea.
This keeps their focus on infantry and ships but removes the problem of slow movement and long travel distance.
